Message For Parents

Dear Parents,

The hand book is the most effective medium of parents-teacher communication. Parents are requested to check the Hand Book daily ,look in for home work , endorsements made by the teacher and to communicate their wishes through the Hand Book.

Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline by taking interest in their child`s progress .They should check the diary and note the homework set and see that the home work is done.

Progress report will be given to the parents after 4 days of every unit Test and every Terminal Exams .open day will be conducted and the progress reports will be handed over by the respective class Teachers.

INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION-ISC( +1 & +2)

Introduction

The Indian school certificate has been designed as an examination ,through the medium of English, in accordance with the recommendation of the New Education policy 1986, after a two year course of studies beyond the Indian certificate of secondary Education (ISCE year-10) Examination or its equivalent Board.

Condition of eligibility for admission to class XI

1. Candidates who have been awarded pass certificate in the Indian certificate of secondary Education Examination with pass in 5 subjects including English and a second language are eligible to be admitted for preparation of courses of study leading to the Indian school certificate Examination.
2. (a) The eligibility of candidates who have been awarded pass certificates in an equivalent examination conducted by another Examining Board will be decided by the chief executive and secretary of the council.

The conditions of eligibility are as follows:

(i) The candidate must have been awarded a pass certificate in accordance with the requirement of the Board at an equivalent examination taken at one and the same sitting.
(ii) The candidate must have obtained pass marks in accordance with the regulation of the Board in (i) English (ii) a second language as distinct from English and(iii) three other written subjects, accepted by the council.
3. The minimum pass percentage for Admission in different streams are : i) I,II,III&IV Group 60% in aggregate ( for English Compulsory 60%) ii) v Group in aggregate 50% ( for English Compulsory 60%)

Physical Education & Co-Curricular Activities

Physical Education is compulsory .The major games are regular feature and in addition every facility is given to the pupils to participate regularly in the sports organized at the state level and national level to promote the spirit of competition.
A vigorous training for participation in the Regional ,National sports and quiz is extended to student of varied categories.


To Specialize in a respective field of interest every student is motivated Abacus, Yoga, Music and Bharathanatyam will be conducted between 4 and 5.00 p.m.
Various competition viz, puzzles ,essay writing, language elocution, coin showers, constructing shapes with wastes mime, word formation ,on sport story telling, singing, memory game, identifying personalities are conducted every year to muddle through the competitive world. To inculcate patriotic fervor in the pupil National Days like Independence Day, Republic Day , Gandhi jayanthi, Teachers day and Children`s Day are celebrated.
Apart from these ,Grand parents Day, Fruits day Orange day Fancy dress and Solo dance are organized and participation of every child is encouraged and appreciated with accolades.
